About the episode

In episode 100 of GT247's Tigers in 20, host and lead writer Christian Fowler, GoTigers247 founder Brooks Hansen and GoTigers247 digital content producer Kenny Stubblefield discuss the latest in Memphis football and basketball. To begin the episode, Fowler and Stubblefield welcome Hansen back after a hiatus, and they begin to discuss Memphis' last two games against SMU and UCF. Hansen discusses the loss to the Mustangs and how the Tigers didn't play well enough to beat SMU twice in three days.  Hansen also drops some news regarding the officiating from the SMU game and how Memphis filed a complaint with the American Athletic Conference.  After the discussion of SMU, the trio moves on to the UCF game. On Monday, the Tigers defeated the Knights by 27 points, and the GT247 crew explains how Memphis played a perfect game. Alex Lomax, Lester Quinones, DeAndre Williams, Landers Nolley and Boogie Ellis were all very impressive on Monday, and the crew breaks down each of their performances and how they helped the Tigers get a massive win. The discussion of the UCF game leads to a breakdown of Memphis' performances since the win over Wichita State and how the team has completely turned the season around. Hansen gives some inside info on what the Tigers did during their long layoff and how that translated to success on the floor. Finally, the trio explains what Memphis is doing offensively and why it's been successful. Although people still believe Memphis is running the Lion offense, the GT247 crew explains the offensive sets that the Tigers are actually running that have been successful.
