About the episode

Canadian filmmaker Diane Whelan became the first person to complete the entire TransCanada Trail, a 24,000-kilometre route connecting three oceans, over a six-year period. Beginning at age 50 with a 40-year-old bike and basic equipment, she documented her solo journey through wilderness, paddling, and hiking whilst filming over 800 hours of footage. Her experience has been released as the award-winning documentary '500 Days in the Wild', now screening in cinemas.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
