She lived with her parents in a cozy cabin at the edge of the forest. Lily was a curious child, always exploring the woods and the streams, collecting flowers and rocks, and chasing after butterflies. But one day, something terrible happened. Lily's parents got sick with a mysterious illness that no one in the village could cure. They grew weaker and weaker each day, until one night, they passed away in their sleep. Lily was devastated. She had lost the two people she loved the most in the world. She cried and cried until there were no more tears left to shed. For weeks, she stayed in her cabin, barely eating or drinking, and barely moving. But one night, as she lay in her bed, staring out of the window at the stars, something strange happened. A shooting star streaked across the sky and landed in the forest behind her cabin. Lily had never seen anything like it before. She got out of bed and put on her boots and coat, and went outside to investigate.
