I come here seeking patience, To release the heavy fight. PAUSE What I want so desperately, Is not coming easily. I try and try and try again, Angry I can’t control when. PAUSE It’s not here right now, Why not, why not? My brain is exploding, Tied in a twisted knot. PAUSE Make this feeling fade, Take this strain away. Open a space for more, I can’t take it anymore. PAUSE Now breathe… I hear my soul request. Just breathe… There’s no need to be so stressed. LONG PAUSE I slowly let my mind, Detach from what I desire. The outcomes, the lifestyle, The things I want to acquire. PAUSE I release controlling hands, My attachment to these things. Then watch them float away, Feel the calmness it brings. PAUSE As breath fills the space, That felt so tight before. I feel myself unfolding, Creating space for more. LONG PAUSE It’s not here right now, I know, I know.
