With their season on the line, the Kings turned in one of their more disappointing efforts of the season in a 119-106 loss to the Brooklyn Nets Friday in Orlando. The Kings couldn't afford to lose another game, but a lackluster effort against the Nets means they will be eliminated from postseason contention if Portland wins Saturday. There was more talk of a lack of effort, which is inexcusable in this situation. It's been an issue all season, too. This isn't about coaching. This falls on the players on the court.
