Mets cult hero Benny Agbayani discusses his short but amazing career. Agbayani’s road to Queens was unique, starting with growing up in Hawaii and getting drafted in the 30th round. He explains why he connected with Bobby Valentine and having to fight for a spot on the roster. Benny turned into an October hero, playing a huge role in the Mets' runs to the NLCS in ‘99 and then the Subway Series a year later. He discusses how hard it was to lose to the Braves and Yankees, and his experience in New York on 9/11. Agbayani’s career was short in New York, but it was still unforgettable.
