About the episode

Six teenagers aged 18 and 19 were rescued from Mount Barney in the Scenic Rim after spending almost 20 hours lost on the summit. The group became disoriented during a seven-hour, 12-kilometre hike and were forced to stay overnight before being winched to safety by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. The rescue follows a separate incident at Mount Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast, where an 18-year-old girl died after falling 90 metres and her friend remains in critical condition.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
