About the episode

The Allan Government has approved increased height limits for apartment towers across 25 areas in inner and suburban Melbourne, allowing developments up to 20 storeys high. Developers can now build towers up to 12 storeys at Middle Brighton and 16 storeys around Oakleigh and Kew Junction, with three to six-storey developments permitted in residential areas near stations. Despite more than 12,000 locals providing feedback, the height limits remain unchanged, with the opposition pledging to reverse the plans if elected.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
