About the episode

A $5 million fire destroyed four vacant shops and damaged two others in Murray Street, Gawler, north of Adelaide. More than 60 firefighters with 20 trucks battled the intense blaze that started in a disused pizza bar just after 5:30am, preventing it from spreading to a nearby Telstra tower and shopping mall. The buildings, vacant for about five years and reportedly used by squatters, were due to be demolished for a multi-million dollar redevelopment.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
